We often think of providing just the necessities of life for the recipients of our development programs, but often there are some side benefits that we don’t even think of.
In the villages of Myanmar most of the girls still carry water in pots on their heads to supply their families needs. The girls wear Tha-nat-kha which is their traditional make up which they believe makes them look pretty and stand out from their peers.

Bangkok, Thailand, May 30, 2005 - A "handing-over" ceremony of the water system constructed by ADRA for the Ao Koie Community in Phang-Nga Province, Thailand, was conducted on May 18, 2005. The gravity-fed system will benefit about 280 people who were directly affected by the December 2004 tsunami.
